What is Navodaya Entrance Exams?

NVS 2019 Exam will be conducted in two phases:

• Online Written Exam

• Interview Process

Candidates need to clear CTET 2019 Exam in order to be eligible for NVS 2019 Exam. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained by candidate in both Written exam and the Interview Process.

No interview Process is conducted for the candidates selected for the post of TGT.

(i) For the post of Assistant Commissioner:

The difficulty level of the question papers for PGTs will be of Post-Graduation standard and for TGTs and others it will be of Graduation standard.	200 Marks/ 2 hrs 30 minutes

NVS 2019 Application Fee

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 1500/- as their application fee if they are applying for the post of Principal and Assistant Commissioner.
If a candidate is applying for the post of TGT, he/she is required to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fee. Rs. 1000/- is required to be paid by candidates applying for the post of TGT/Miscellaneous/Regional Language Teacher.

NVS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Post	Educational Qualification
ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER	Master’s Degree in Humanities/Science/Commerce from the recognized institute/university Desirable Experience in the residential school system and research work done in the field of education.
PRINCIPAL	Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree. At least 3-year experience as House Master of a fully residential school. Proficiency in English & Hindi/concerned Regional language.
