Chandigarh Police Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are applied for this exam should undergo three tests. They are Physical Efficiency test, Measurement Test and Written Test. The test will be conducted one by one. The candidates should be passed at each level. If they failed in any one of the above tests, they will not be permitted to go to the next level.

1. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India

2. Age Limit:

• The age limit of the general candidates should be 18 to 25.
• For OBC candidates, the age limit should be 18 to 28.
• For SC candidates, the age limit should be 18 to 30.
• The Ex-servicemen candidates can be around 45 years.

3. Educational Qualification

• The candidates should have passed in the Higher Secondary levels.
• They should possess the original driving license.

4. Physical Fitness Requirements:

• The height of the candidates should be 168 cm for the general. And then for SC candidates, it should be 160 cm.
• The chest measurement of SC/ OBC candidates should be 81 cm without expansion and 86 cm with expansion.
