University grant commission conducts (UGC) NET,National Eligibility TEST, to selection the candidate for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. It is conducted in different stream such as Management, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science etc.
The test is conducted twice in a year in the months of June and December. The test is divided into three Session, each session contain 100 marks with different time duration which are explain below in detail.
