About KVS Exam:

KVS is an autonomous organization that comes under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. They invite applications to hire for various positions in teaching, non-teaching, officer cadre and the like for schools. The hiring is normally done through a competitive exam.

Eligibility criteria for KVS PGT/TGT/PRT

Post	Eligibility Criteria
PGT ( Post graduate teacher)	Masters Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned or related subjects B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University Age Limit for applying for PGT post – 45 Years
PRT (Primary Teacher)	Candidate must have cleared 10+2 and graduation with 50% marks from recognized board/university and must possess the knowledge of English and Hindi Language Candidate has cleared CTET exam conducted by CBSE in accordance with NCTE. Age limit for male and female candidate is 37 years for government sector jobs. For OBC relaxation is of 3 years and For SC/ST relaxation is of 5 years,
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)	An individual must be a Graduate or Post Graduate or Diploma in Education from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or above Candidate must have done B.Ed from recognized university Age limit: candidate can apply till he attains the age of 35 years.

KVS Salary 2020

Salary of the posts might differ according to the designation opted for in KVS 2020 Exam. The Government of India pays a very good salary to the eligible candidates who clear KVS 2020 and get appointed at Kendriya Vidyalaya to the post of Officer Cadre, Non-Teaching Post and Librarian. After the release of the 7th Pay Commission, the revised Salary for the above mentioned posts are:
